C-sections: Behind the fashion curve

Lily had another tough day, partly because she skipped her nap, the evil little being. On the plus side, it was my first day without narcotics. They wouldn’t refill my prescription, curse them! No way ordinary tylenol would work!
Well, actually, it did–and I’m less groggy, too. So maybe they know something.
Other thoughts:
The people in charge of c-section scar placement have not kept up with the new lower waistbands. And it’s not the scar I’m worried about–it’s the current problem, namely, that I have no pants that don’t hit right on the incision! All my maternity pants have dura-strong elastic right there. And I have no waist yet, so I can’t go with higher waists, either. I was in my first non-maternity pants today–my biggest non-mat pregnancy pants, but I feel pretty good. I have nothing to wear tomorrow, though. Maybe yoga pants, which I wouldn’t normally wear outside the house, but these are desperate times.

I had to get “in between” clothes after becca’s birth. It was not great for the ego, however it was better than wearing maternity pants! I am glad you are feeling less groggy!

Everyone will be looking at Wyatt… and the fact that you have 3 kiddos. No one will notice yoga pants. 3 kids can be such a circus going places…

Can’t wait to see pictures of Wyatt, baby extraordinaire!

Ok it has been 8 months and I still can’t get into any of my pants! Good for you. Glad to hear you are healing. Cut a nice U-shape in a pair of sweats. Hope to hear from you soon. Enjoy your new bundle!
