    I’m not a psychologist, or at least not that kind, but I think the waiting until the last minute to fix up the room might have been a manifestation of hope that perhaps her trip might have been cancelled and you wouldn’t have to actually fix up the guest room… 🙂 That’s one of the reason why I procrastinate on things… Not b/c the mother-in-law coming to visit, but because I hope that the things I’m procrastinating on might not happen and then I’d never have to do them.
